Mountain Bike Wheels

Moonglu Wheelworks have been specialising in hand built mountain bike wheels for over 10 years. In 2020 we upgraded our North Yorkshire based workshop, importing a Morizumi SCT. Now all our custom MTB wheels are built using custom cut and threaded Sapim Race and CX Ray spokes with length optimized spokes to elimate tension stresses on the rim and nipple. This has resulted in very reliable wheel builds with a near zero spoke or nipple failure rate.

We have been using Hope hubs on our wheel builds for at least 20 years and the new Pro 5 continues their legendary status in the UK as well made, reliable and cost effective mountain bike hubs. Paired with either DT Swiss or Stans No Tubes rims and you're buying a super reliable wheelset.
